Alex Michael Tilley, 28, of Du Quoin, passed away at 7:38 P.M., Monday, November 23, 2020 at his residence.

Alex had been a labor worker for the coal mines. He was of the Baptist faith.

He was born June 23, 1992 at Du Quoin, IL, the son of Michael and Kathleen Renee (Knight) Tilley.

He is survived by his mother - Kathleen Hamburger of Du Quoin, his father - Michael Tilley of Du Quoin, one brother - Brock Hamburger of Du Quoin, four sisters - Kristen Swisher of Mt. Vernon, Kayla Armes of West Frankfort, Lauren Tilley of Du Quoin and Ella Hamburger of Du Quoin.

Per Alex's and his family's request, cremation rites were accorded.

A family celebration of life service will be held at a later date.

Friends may make memorials to the family and will be accepted at the funeral home.
