Alice Catherine Fredenberg passed into eternal life on April 16, 2024, at Fairview Healthcare Center in Du Quoin, IL. Daughter of the late Abner E. and Mary E. (Fitzgerald) Fredenberg, Alice was born on July 5, 1939 in New London, Wisconsin. She grew up in Syracuse, NY and graduated from Syracuse University. Alice was an accomplished pianist and interior designer.  She enjoyed traveling and was an avid reader. Alice spent her later years in Du Quoin, Illinois.

Alice is survived by her sister, Mary Ellen (Fredenberg) Sciarrino of Windsor, CT; sisters-in-law Margaret (McMahon) Fredenberg of Phoenix, AZ, and Mary (Cuddy) Fredenberg of Charlotte, NC; and dozens of nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her parents, brothers James D. and John R. Fredenberg, and sister, Jane A. (Fredenberg) St.Denis.

Alice's family would like to thank the staff at Fairview Healthcare Center for its gentle care and attention to Alice's needs.
