Alice Faye (Robinson) Perryman, 83, of Elkville, passed away at 2:34 A.M., Friday, December 6, 2024 at her residence.
Alice worked at the Du Quoin National Bank and as a secretary at the Elverado High School for many years.  She loved all the kids that went through high school and always said that there never was a bad kid in all the years she worked there.  Alice was a life long member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Du Quoin.  She graduated from Elkville High School in 1959.  Alice had served on the Elk Township Board for over forty years.  She was a member of Elverado Education Foundation.  Alice loved touring on the motorcycle.
She was born May 8, 1941 in Du Quoin, IL, the daughter of Nathan and Sue (Maksin) Robinson.
She married Donald Perryman on October 24, 1959 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Du Quoin and he survives.  Alice met Don in high school and started going steady when he was a senior and she was a sophomore.  Two years and seven months later, they were married.  They just celebrated sixty-five years of marriage.
She is survived by her husband of Elkville, four children - Deborah Ciolino and special friend Ken Graham of Lehigh Acres, FL, Denise Mezo of DeSoto, IL, Dalice Torres and husband Hiram of Cobden, IL, and Deon Perryman and wife Mary of Springfield, IL, eight grandkids, and six great grandkids.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother - Paul Robinson, and two sisters-in-law - Marsha Robinson and Marcia Perryman.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 P.M., Tuesday, December 10, 2024 at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin with Fr. John Igwe and Deacon Tony Kellerman officiating.
Friends may call from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service on Tuesday at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin.
Burial will be in the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Du Quoin, IL.
Friends may make memorials to Elverado Education Foundation and will be accepted at the funeral home.
