Allen Ray Provart, 78, of Belleville, passed away at 5:13 P.M., Sunday, December 10, 2023 at the Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO.
Allen had retired from the United States Air Force in 1988.  With over twenty years of service, he attained the rank of Technical Sergeant.  He was a member of Mascoutah Senior Center and TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly).
He was born October 10, 1945 in Du Quoin, IL, the son of Harry and Margie (Moore) Provart, Jr.
He married Darlene Ruth Suggs on August 31, 1973 at the Broadway Baptist Chapel in Fort Worth, TX and she survives.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one daughter - Stephanie Renee Provart.
Private graveside services were held.
Military graveside rites were conducted.
Burial was in the Paradise Cemetery in Tamaroa, IL.
Friends may make memorials to Mascoutah Senior Center and will be accepted at the funeral home.
