Barbara Ann Lacy, 87, of Pinckneyville, passed away at 11:08 P.M., Friday, July 30, 2021 at the Pinckneyville Nursing and Rehab Center.
Barbara had been a homemaker. She was a member of the Oak Grove Baptist Church in Pinckneyville. Barbara was a Sunday School and Bible School teacher. She enjoyed gardening.
She was born October 1, 1933 at Pinckneyville, IL, the daughter of Everett P. and Ora E. (Jones) Fisher.
She married William C. "Bill" Lacy on October 28, 1950 at Pinckneyville, IL and he preceded her in death .
She is survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and six siblings - James Fisher, Ramona Behm, Evelyn Jenkel, Virginia Phelps, Carolin Bliss and Erma Cooper.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M., Thursday, August 5, 2021 at the Oak Grove Baptist Church in Pinckneyville with Rev. Rob Mathis officiating.
Friends may call from 9 A.M. until the time of service on Thursday at the church.
Burial will be in the Mueller Hill Cemetery at Pinckneyville.
Friends may make memorials to the Oak Grove Baptist Church and will be accepted at the funeral home.
