Barbara Dianne White, 84, of Johnston City, IL, passed away at 4:00 A.M., Sunday, March 2, 2025 at the Memorial Hospital in Springfield, IL.
Barbara had been a housewife.  She was of the Pentecostal faith.
She was born January 29, 1941 in Du Quoin, IL, the daughter of Elmer and Lillian Faye (Dasher) Fred.
She married Stanley Earl White on December 9, 1961 in Springfield, IL and he preceded her in death.
She is survived by one daughter - Denise (Bill) Shields of Sparta, three sons - Tony (Regina) White of San Diego, CA, Daniel White of Johnston City, IL, and Jason White of Du Quoin, siblings - Dolores (Leroy) Donathan of Springfield, IL, Della (Ross) Kelley of Springfield, IL, Elmer Wilbur (Joyce) Fred of Springfield, IL, John (Alda) Fred of Tamaroa, and Steve (Minerva) Fred of Du Quoin, nine grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son - Stanley "Kent" White, three siblings - Naomi Commean, Mahala Fred, and Ralph Edward Fred.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M., Friday, March 7, 2025 at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin with Rev. Joe Crowe officiating.
Friends may call from 9 A.M. until the time of service on Friday at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin.
Burial will be in the Old Du Quoin Cemetery in Du Quoin, IL.
