Betty J. Roberts, 76, of Tamaroa, passed away at 2:00 A.M., Friday, April 21, 2023 at her residence.
Betty had been an accountant and bookkeeper.  She had worked at Marshall Browning Hospital, Coca-Cola plant, Hicks Oil and G.S. Metals.  She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Tamaroa.
She was born August 20, 1946 in Du Quoin, IL, the daughter of Lawrence Noah and Eugenia (Tkaczyk) Knapp.
She married Marion "Dave" Roberts on September 26, 1964 at Cave-In-Rock, IL and he preceded her in death on May 14, 2019.
She is survived by three children - Jeff "Red" Roberts and wife Trish of Pinckneyville, Larry Roberts and fiancé Karla Whited and family of Tamaroa, and Laura Ferrari and husband Donald of Pinckneyville, grandchildren - Connie Jo Forth and husband Jarrod of Colorado, Jeff "Rusty" Roberts and wife Kate of Pinckneyville, and David Ferrari and wife Aireanna of Waltonville, sixteen great grandchildren, three brothers - James Knapp, Jerry Knapp, and Nelson Knapp, and four sisters - Loretta Adcock, Susie Kuberski, Mary Jo Rybacki, and Nancy Quinn.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers - Leonard Knapp and Bobby Knapp and two sisters - Cathy Ratajczyk and Phyllis Ferguson.
Graveside services will be at 1:00 P.M., Sunday, April 23, 2023 at the Tamaroa Cemetery in Tamaroa with Fr. Carl Schrage officiating.
Those attending the service are asked to go directly to the cemetery.
Burial will be in the Tamaroa Cemetery in Tamaroa, IL.
