Billie Lynette (Jones) Keeling, Louisville, KY, passed to her eternal home on Wednesday, November 15, 2023.  She was born in Benton, IL on October 20, 1922 to the family of Clarence Elza and Susan Elizabeth (Musselman) Jones, siblings Calvin, Dwight, Hazel and Juanita, all having preceded her in death.  Also preceding her in death were her husband of 70 years, Winifred M. Keeling, an infant daughter Jeanette Ann and adopted son Mark David.
Billie is survived by daughter, Lynette C. Keeling, grandson Eric J. Watson (Amanda), great-grandson Morgan P. Watson and three nieces.
Born into the Family of God upon her profession of faith at the age of twelve, she became an avid reader and student of the Bible.  She taught Sunday School for 55 years and sang in the choir.  Billie was a long time member of St. Matthews Baptist Church then a member of Parkland Baptist Church.
Billie loved people with a compassionate heart, serving their needs as a LPN, Licensed Funeral Director and hospital volunteer.  She will be remembered as a Prayer Warrior, praying for many over the span of her long life.
She will be laid to rest next to her beloved Winifred in the Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Valier, IL. on Monday, November 20, 2023 at 10:00 A.M..  Those attending the service are asked to go directly to the cemetery.  Memorial gifts may be made in her memory to Parkland Baptist Church or to Hosparus Health.
