Brenda Lee Jones, 66, of Wingo, KY, formerly of Du Quoin, passed away at 7:00 A.M., Friday, March 3, 2023 at the home of her daughter.
Brenda had worked in home health care for Addus. She was of the Baptist faith. Brenda enjoyed time with her family and grandbabies. She also enjoyed camping.
She was born July 20, 1956 in Kankakee, IL, the daughter of Lester Knapp and Edith Nevill.
She married Rocky Jones on November 30, 2021 in Wingo, KY and he survives.
She is survived by her husband of Wingo, KY, three children - Janie Stroud of Du Quoin, Teddy Loucks of Elkville and Scottrina Grizzell of Du Quoin, seven siblings - Lester Knapp, Leslie Knapp, Leroy Shaw, Allen Russell, Ralph Knapp, Virgil Knapp and Nellie Nevill, four grandchildren - Brandon Evans, Brittany Stroud, Taylor Williams and Trenton Loucks, and one great grandchild - Harmony Kay Williams.
She was preceded in death by her parents and grandmother - Matilda Stanley.
Memorial services will be at 11:00 A.M., Monday, March 13, 2023 at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin with Rev. Joe Wagner officiating.
