Brenda Sue Varner, 61, of Du Quoin, passed away at 12:21 P.M., Thursday, December 11, 2025 at the Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO
Brenda was a factory worker and had worked several years at Decca and Uni Records in Pinckneyville.
She was of the Christian Faith.
Brenda was born April 11, 1964 in Chicago, IL the daughter of Thomas and Dorothy (Brown) Hess.
She is survived by two daughters- Sara Varner of West Frankfort, IL and Brea Varner of Peoria, IL, six grandchildren- Edan Sisney, Luna Vaughn, Ezeral Vaughn, Kaelob Sisney, Kylo Varner and Khaleo McIntosh, two sisters- her twin- Debbie Casey of Bristol, VA, Sandra Timpner & husband Gary of Pinckneyville, one brother- David Hess & wife Ellen of Round Rock, TX,  and numerous Nieces and Nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings- Margie Eisenhauer, Linda Eisenhauer, Judy Ridgeway, Richard Hess and Kenneth Hess.
A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
Burial will be at a later date at Sunset Memorial Park in Du Quoin.
Friends may make memorials to the American Cancer Society and will be accepted at the funeral home.
