Carolyn Sue Harrison, 78, of Elkville, passed away at 9:44 P.M., Thursday, December 10, 2020 at the SIH Herrin Hospital in Herrin, IL.

Carolyn had been a secretary for Zieba Appraisal Company. She was of the Christian faith.

She was born December 28, 1941 at Carterville, IL, the daughter of Lester and Bernice (Gossett) Green.

She married James Ray Harrison on December 22, 1969 at DeSoto, IL and he preceded her in death on January 12, 2017.

She is survived by one daughter - Tracey Arnold and husband Brad of Herrin, one son - James Ray "Jay" Harrison of Elkville, three grandchildren - Zachary Arnold and Leah Collins, Meghann Arnold and Brooklyn Miller, three great grandchildren - Eastyn Sowl, Westyn Sowl, and Cillian Arnold, two brothers - Morris Green and wife Sherry and Frank Green and wife Debbie, all of Du Quoin, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one brother - Avis Green and one sister - Vera Selby.

Graveside services will be at 1:00 P.M., Sunday, December 13, 2020 at the DeSoto Cemetery at DeSoto, IL with Pastor Ron Henwood officiating.

Burial will be in the DeSoto Cemetery at DeSoto, IL.
