Cathy R. Harris, 58, of Du Quoin, passed away at 9:55 A.M., Thursday, April 21, 2022 at her residence.
Cathy had worked as General Manager at ISI for fifteen years. She was a member of the Spirit of Life Christian Church in Du Quoin.
She was born September 19, 1963 in Du Quoin, IL, the daughter of Raymond and Charlotte (Such) Dintelman.
She married Kenneth A. Harris on July 16, 1982 in Du Quoin, IL and he survives.
She is survived by her husband of Du Quoin, three daughters - Jamie Schaffer and husband Terry of St. Charles, MO, Dana Moore and husband Zane of Du Quoin and Haley Steely of Du Quoin, three sisters - Cindy Morgan of Centralia, Carla Slade of Du Quoin and Lisa Eaton of Du Quoin, eight grandchildren - Rayden Loucks, Javen Moore, Tessa Loucks, Drake Schaffer, E.J. Loucks, Lilly Schaffer, Zane Moore, Jr, and Harem Moore, special nieces and nephew - Stephanie Morgan, Alexis Morgan, Jaylon Betts, Amber Higgerson, and Mallory Higgerson, several other nieces and nephews, and her special dog - Daisy May.
She was preceded in death by her parents and grandmother - Thelma Whittington.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin with Rev. Gerald Wright officiating.
Friends may call from 9 A.M. until the time of service on Wednesday at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin.
Burial will be in the Sunset Memorial Park in Du Quoin.
