Charlet Lee Johnson, 75, of Elkville, passed away at 5:15 P.M., Friday, November 25, 2022 at her residence.
Charlet had been a homemaker and factory worker.
She was born October 3, 1947 in Carbondale, IL, the daughter of Otis and Alma (Collins) Cox.
She married David E. Johnson on October 27, 1967 in Carbondale and he survives.
She is survived by her husband of Elkville, two sons - John David Johnson of Du Quoin and Steven Lee Johnson of DeSoto, two brothers - Larry Cox and Danny Cox, five grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Per Charlet's request, cremation rites were accorded.
There will be no public visitation or funeral service.
