Chester William Armstrong, Jr., 45, of Jasper, TX, formerly of Du Quoin, passed away at 7:33 A.M., Friday, May 20, 2022, in the Norfolk, VA area.
Chester had been a project manager installing solar fields. He was passionate about his job and the people on his crews. Chester was a skilled musician. He enjoyed golf, Comicon, professional wrestling and Cardinal baseball. He did everything for his daughter, whom he dearly loved.
He was born April 2, 1977, in Du Quoin, IL, the son of Chester William and Dr. Connie J. (Norman) Armstrong, Sr.
He is survived by one daughter - Lylah Armstrong of Jasper, TX, his father - Chester Armstrong, Sr. and wife Fran of Mulkeytown, one sister - Jana Kuhnert and husband Todd of Du Quoin, maternal grandmother - Lotric Norman, three nephews - Charlie Kuhnert and wife Amanda of Du Quoin, Samuel Kuhnert and wife Victoria of Tamaroa, and Tucker Kuhnert and wife Madeleine of Du Quoin, and two great nieces - Eisley Kuhnert and Heidi Kuhnert.
He was preceded in death by his mother, paternal grandparents - Robert and Mary Armstrong and his maternal grandfather - James "Boots" Norman.
Memorial services will be at a later date.
