Chris D. Ryan, 51, of Pinckneyville, passed away at 11:07 A.M., Tuesday, August 15, 2023 at his residence.
Chris had been a semi truck driver, which he loved doing. He also loved being a mechanic.  He was a member of Matthews Baptist Church.
He was born May 11, 1972 in Goldendale, WA, the son of Robert L. and Connie J. (Thompson) Ryan, Jr.
He is survived by his parents - Robert L. and Connie J. Ryan, Jr. of Dowell, one daughter - Ashley Wininger and husband Jared, Sr. of Du Quoin, one sister - Candy M. Ryan of Dowell, one uncle - David Ryan and wife Jackie, one aunt - Judy Curry and husband Jim, special family member - Myla Childers and her son Cole Childers and good friend - Rico Riggio.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
Per Chris' request, cremation rites were accorded.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.
Friends may make memorials to the family to help with funeral expenses and will be accepted at the funeral home.
