Connie Jean Horst, 84, of Du Quoin, passed away at 5:28 P.M., Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at the Du Quoin Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Connie had been a clerk at a grocery store most of her life. She was of the Catholic faith. Connie enjoyed sunbathing by the pool or on the beach.
She was born January 21, 1938 in Du Quoin, IL, the daughter of Lee and Christina (Kezley) Youngman.
Connie married Gerald "Jerry" Horst in Indianapolis, Indiana and he preceded her in death in April of 1988.
She is survived by her daughter - Kelli Funkhouser and husband Lance of Key West, FL, grand dog - Lola, three brothers - Richard Youngman and wife Cathy of Du Quoin, IL, Jack Youngman of Du Quoin, IL, and Bill Youngman and wife Charlotte of O'Fallon, MO, three sisters - Patricia Moschino of Coello, IL, Judy Loos and husband Charlie of Cutler, IL, and Carolyn Robinson of Cutler, IL, and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband - Jerry Horst, parents - Lee and Christina Youngman, brother - Donnie "Duke" Youngman, sister - Beverly (Youngman) Parker, and brother-in-law - Pete Moschino.
There will be no public services held.
