Darren W. Lovel, 56, of Tamaroa, passed away at 12:39 P.M., Saturday, December 25, 2021 at his residence.
Darren had been a setup tech at Continental Tire. He was of the Protestant faith.
He was born November 20, 1965 at Du Quoin, IL, the son of Ronald and Linda (Pippin) Lovel.
He married Tina M. Lampley on October 18, 1997 at Tamaroa, IL and she survives.
He is survived by his wife of Tamaroa, two sons - Dalton Nalley of Salem, IL, and Lane Lovel of Tamaroa, his mother - Linda Newton of Du Quoin, grandchildren - Autumn Pack of Salem, IL and Hunter Phillips of Iuka, IL, mother-in-law and step father-in-law - Sharon and Kenneth Ruff of Benton, father-in-law - Donald Lampley and wife Debbie of Thompsonville, one step sister - Toni Porter and husband Ryan of Du Quoin, three brothers-in-law - Donnie and Jamie, Brandon and Amy, and Joshua, many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 A.M., Friday, December 31, 2021 at the Searby Funeral Home in Tamaroa with Rev. Raymond Baggott officiating.
Friends may call from 8:30 A.M. until the time of service on Friday at the Searby Funeral Home in Tamaroa.

Burial will be in the Antioch Cemetery at Tamaroa.
Friends may make memorials to the family and will be accepted at the funeral home.
