Daryl Lynn Cashion, 69,of Du Quoin, passed away at 4:11 P.M., Sunday, January 10, 2021 at the Carle Hospital in Urbana, IL.
Daryl had been a janitor and bus driver for Elverado High School and retired in 2003. He was a member of the Dowell Baptist Church.
He was born April 28, 1951 at Murphysboro, IL, the son of Everette and Beulah (Barnes) Cashion.
He married Donna J. Reinhardt on February 28, 1970 at Pinckneyville, IL and she survives.
He is survived by his wife of Du Quoin, two sons - Darnell Cashion and wife Amy and Daniel Cashion and wife Lauren, all of Du Quoin, four grandchildren - Lindsey Cashion and fiancé Brandon, Drake Cashion, Karah Cashion, and Mallory Cashion, one great granddaughter - Kendra Bannert and one brother - Stan Cashion and wife Rita of Hurst.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one great grandson - Mason Cash Bannert.
Per Daryl's request, cremation rites were accorded.
A celebration of life service will be held at a later date. The funeral home website will be update with a service time.
Friends may make memorials to the Dowell Baptist Church and will be accepted at the funeral home.
