David W. Cashion, 70, of Fulton, MO, passed away at 10:30 A.M., Saturday, July 8, 2023 at the Boone Medical Center in Columbia, MO.
David had been a counselor at the Fulton State Hospital in Fulton, MO.  He was a member of the New Testament Christian Church in Auxvasse, MO.
He was born September 4, 1952 in Murphysboro, IL, the son of Albert and Mary Irene (Barnes) Cashion.
David married Beverly J. Carnaghi on September 6, 1986 in West Frankfort, IL and she preceded him in death on February 25, 2007.
He is survived by one daughter - Andrea Cashion of Elkville, two sons -  Shaun Cashion and wife Dawn of Pinckneyville, and Anson Cashion and wife Sarah of Du Quoin, five grandchildren - Sadie Lewis and husband Branden, Kadie Ridgeway and husband Davey, Ashton Bruzan, Morgan Cashion and fiancé Caleb, and Hadlyn Cashion, two great grandchildren, and one brother - Jerry Cashion of Holts Summit, MO.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, sister - Donna Trisler, brother - Randy Cashion, two infant siblings, and one granddaughter - Alexis Ellsworth.
Funeral services will be at 7:00 P.M., Friday, July 14, 2023 at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin with Rev. Tim Gossett officiating.
Friends may call from 4 P.M. until the time of service on Friday at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin.
Burial will be in the Hallidayboro Cemetery in Hallidayboro, IL at a later date.
Friends may make memorials to the family and will be accepted at the funeral home.
