David Tomaszewski, 72, of Radom, IL, passed away at 5:57 A.M., Thursday, January 6, 2022 at his residence.
David had been a machinist for Taylor Brothers Welding for many years. He had also worked at Kohnen Concrete in Germantown, IL. David was a member of the St. Michael Catholic Church in Radom. He was a lifelong avid farmer and successful deer hunter. David was a very proud grandfather and very involved with his grandkids.
He was born July 4, 1949 at Centralia, IL, the son of Conrad and Emily (Ziarnek) Tomaszewski.
He married Carol Hunter on December 28, 1968 at the St. Charles Catholic Church in Du Bois, IL.
He is survived by his wife - Carol of Radom, two daughters - Amy Maurer and husband Barry of Radom and Jill Gebke and husband Aaron of Bartelso, four grandchildren - Jackson and Reagan Maurer, both of Radom and Connor and Drew Gebke, both of Bartelso, and one brother - Mike Tomaszewski and wife Linda of Radom.
He was preceded in death by his parents and father-in-law and mother-in-law - John and Barbara Hunter.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, January 8, 2022 at the St. Michael Catholic Church in Radom with Fr. Carl Schrage officiating.
Friends may call from 8:00 A.M. - 10:30 A.M. Saturday at the Searby Funeral Home in Tamaroa.

Burial will be in the St. Michael Cemetery at Radom.
Friends may make memorials to the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church or St. Michael Cemetery and will be accepted at the funeral home.
