Debra (Debbie) L. Aldridge, 66, of Du Quoin, passed away at 9:17 pm, Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at St. John's Hospital in Springfield, IL.
Debbie worked retail and enjoyed interacting with her customers. She made friends everywhere she went. When anyone talked about Debbie, they always mentioned her laugh. Her laugh was infectious and it will be remembered by all who knew her.
She was born January 23, 1955 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of David and Lois (Coffel) Wallace.
She is survived by two children - Matthew Stratton and wife Erin, of Tolono, IL, along with Lindsay Halstead and husband Wayne Jr. of Du Quoin. She is also survived by five grandchildren - Maddie Halstead, Jackson Halstead, and Lucy Halstead of Du Quoin, along with Emma Stratton and Lauren Stratton of Tolono, IL, and three siblings - Danny Wallace of Marion, Donna Newcomb and husband David of Pinckneyville, and Helen Foster and husband Dean of Du Quoin, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Private graveside services and burial will be held at a later date at Old Du Quoin Cemetery in Du Quoin.
