Diane Jackson, 80, of Elkville, passed away at 11:20 A.M., Sunday, June 15, 2025 at the Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO.
She was born March 18, 1945 in Murphysboro, IL, the daughter of Guy Leroy "Roy" and Ann (Buyaki) Harmon.
Diane married Roger Jackson on June 22, 1963 in Dowell, IL and he survives.
Also surviving are her children - Toni (Mitchell) Longmeyer of Greenfield, IL, Becky (Christopher) Shaw of Lakewood, IL, and Steve (Johnna) Jackson of Carterville, IL, six grandchildren - Katherine (Will) Richardet of Perryville, MO, Olivia Shaw of Lakewood, IL, and Olivia, Demani, Isla, and Audrey Jackson of Carterville, IL, and one great grandchild - Ralph Richardet of Perryville, MO.
Her grandchildren and great grandchild brought her immense joy.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother - Michael Harmon, and two sisters-in-law - Virgilene Rainwater and Vickie Stephens.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, June 21, 2025 at the Elkville Baptist Church in Elkville, IL with Rev. Scott Slone officiating.
Friends may call from 9 A.M. until the time of service on Saturday at the church.
Burial will be in the Elkville Cemetery in Elkville, IL.
Friends may make memorials to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and will be accepted at the funeral home.
