Dianna Lee Cavins, 78, of Du Quoin, passed away at 9:30 A.M., Friday, January 28, 2022 at her residence.
Dianna had been a homemaker and a caretaker for many years. She was a very loving and caring woman. Dianna touched the hearts of many people, especially though her cooking and kind heart. Her family was everything to her.
She was born March 29, 1943 at Du Quoin, IL, the daughter of Earl E. and Ethel (Coffel) Lashbrook.
She married Bruce D. Cavins on June 28, 1958 a Elkville, IL and he survives.
She is survived by her husband of Du Quoin, three children - Jack Cavins and wife Terri of Du Quoin, Bruce D. Cavins, Jr. and wife Cassie of Carterville, IL and Patricia Cavins-Pena and husband Pete of Johnston City, IL, five grandchildren -
Jeff Wilson of Du Quoin, Dustin Jones of Du Quoin, Cody Cavins of Tampa, FL, Kourtney Pena of Johnston City, IL and Alexis Cavins of Carterville, IL, three great grandchildren - Jacob Scholebo, Hunter Jones, and Drake Jones.
She was preceded in death by her parents and seven siblings - Wilma Woodsides, Paul Lashbrook, Jack Lashbrook, Janet Jump, Ima Jean Stowers, Sharon Ping, and George Lashbrook.
Celebration of Life Services will be from 12:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M., Saturday, October 8, 2022 at Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin with Rev. Allen Newman officiating.
