Donald Dale Gass, 85, of Pinckneyville, passed away at 8:35 P.M., Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at the SIH Memorial Hospital at Carbondale, IL.
Donald had been a farmer. He was a member of the Beaucoup Baptist Church. Donald was also a member of the Perry County Farm Bureau.
He was born March 30, 1935 at Pinckneyville, IL, the son of Murwin and Caroline (Fiek) Gass.
He married Doris Ann McCune on November 5, 1955 at the Concord Baptist Church in Pinckneyville and she preceded him in death on May 18, 2019.
He is survived by two daughters - Debra Burns and husband Vince of Pinckneyville and Beverly Davis of Du Quoin, two sons - Rodney Gass and wife Tami of Mt. Vernon and Cody Gass and wife Violetta of Pinckneyville, two sisters - Wanda Rennison of Pinckneyville and Mary Neal of Du Quoin, nine grandchildren - Kelly (John) Mayer, Tami (Josh) Williams, Jill Davis, Marshall (Chelsey) Davis, Miles Gass, Jacob Gass, Benjamin Gass, Hollie Gass, and Sabrina Bathon and six great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and one brother in infancy.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 P.M., Monday, March 29, 2021 at the Searby Funeral Home in Tamaroa with Rodney Gass officiating.
Friends may call from 12:30 P.M. until the time of service on Monday at the Searby Funeral Home in Tamaroa.

Burial will be in the Concord Cemetery at Rice, IL.
Friends may make memorials to the Parkinson's Foundation or the Beaucoup Baptist Church and will be accepted at the funeral home.
