Edwineth Mae Irvin, 92, of Vero Beach, FL, formerly of Murphysboro, passed away on Friday, November 10, 2023 at her residence.
Edwineth had worked in the records department for the Carbondale Clinic.  She was an avid reader and enjoyed knitting and crocheting.
She was born October 13, 1931 in Carbondale, IL, the daughter of Herbert I. and Clola M. (Maloney) Hall.
She married William H. Irvin, Sr. on July 15, 1947 and he preceded her in death on November 17, 1971.
She is survived by one daughter - Vicki K. Phillips and husband Dennis of Elkville, one son - William Irvin and wife Karen of Vero Beach, FL, seven grandchildren - Jerry Teague, Eddie Teague and wife Dena, Becky Fletcher and husband Wade, Robert Nehring and wife Jennifer, William H. Irvin, III, Nicole Koontz and husband Shawn, and Aaron Irvin and wife Vanessa, nine great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one brother and one sister.
Graveside services will be at 1:00 P.M., Friday, November 17, 2023 at the Sunset Memorial Park in Du Quoin, IL with Rev. Joe Wagner officiating.
Those attending the service are asked to go directly to the cemetery.
Burial will be in the Sunset Memorial Park in Du Quoin.
