Emilee Ann Rodenbush, 54, of Du Quoin, passed away Saturday, January 31, 2026, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.
Emilee was a 30-plus-year employee of Five Star Industries in Du Quoin. Five Star was her home, and she enjoyed spending time there with her friends and co-workers. Emilee's family would like to extend its thanks to Five Star for its longtime support, care and advocacy for Emilee.
Emilee was born August 21, 1971, in Carbondale to Barry and Vicki (Saunches) Rodenbush. She was preceded in death by her grandparents Ray and Geraldine (Warren) Saunches of Du Quoin, and Robert and Esther (Haworth) Rodenbush of Sesser, along with her parents and her brother, Thomas Jerome Rodenbush.
She is survived by her brothers Christopher Rodenbush of South Park, Pa., Jim (Jacqueline) Rodenbush of Du Quoin, one niece, Carley Rodenbush of Pittsburgh, two nephews, Hasan Khalil of Carbondale, and Najjar Khalil of Du Quoin, along with many aunts, uncles and cousins.
A private celebration of life was held Feb. 4, 2026, at Five Star Industries. Memorials can be donated to Five Star Industries, 1308 Wells Street Rd, Du Quoin, IL 62832.
