Glenn E. Bird, 58, of Sesser, passed away at 8:03 P.M., Monday, January 24, 2022 at his residence.
Glenn worked as an operator for the Illinois Department of Agriculture at the Du Quoin State Fairgrounds. He was of the baptist faith.
He was born August 1, 1963 at Du Quoin, IL the son of Glen and Marylou (Obertini) Bird.
Glenn married Tracy L. Burris on November 5, 2019 at Sesser, IL and she survives.
He is survived by his wife of Sesser, daughter - Erica Jo Bird and Dawn of Benton, grandson - Mason Hargett of Benton, granddaughter - Deanna Bollinger of Benton, and sister - Terri Poe of Mulkeytown.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister - Sherri Pena.
Per Glenn's request, cremation rites were accorded.
There will be no public visitation or service.
Friends may make memorials to the family and will be accepted at the funeral home.
