Heather Denee' Dawe Swayne, 51, of Du Quoin, passed away at 11:06 P.M., Monday, December 7, 2020 at her residence.

Heather had worked in maintenance at Smith Grove Baptist Church in Greenville. She was a member of Smith Grove Baptist Church.

She was born December 10, 1968 at Pinckneyville, IL, the daughter of Robert and Bonnie (Burns) Dawe.

She is survived by one son - Dalton Ray Swayne of Minneapolis, MN, her parents - Robert and Bonnie Dawe of Elkville, one uncle - Kim Burns of Nashville, TN, and companion and caregiver - Marty McMillian of Dowell.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents - Millie and Thomas Burns, paternal grandparents - Gene and Mary Dawe and one uncle - Jere Dawe.

Per Heather's request, cremation rites were accorded.

A graveside service will be at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, April 24, 2021 at the Elkville Cemetery with Bro. Ron Kreid officiating.  Burial will be in the Elkville Cemetery at Elkville.

Friends may make memorials to the Elkville Christian Church in Elkville and will be accepted at the funeral home.
