Howard Gene "Bo" George, Jr., 49, of Tamaroa, passed away at 12:20 P.M., Sunday, June 15, 2025 at his residence.
Bo had worked at Republic Tea in Nashville.  He had also worked part-time for UPS and been an over-the-road truck driver.  Bo loved fishing and his dogs.  He was a United States Navy veteran.
He was born October 29, 1975 in Pinckneyville, IL, the son of Howard Gene and Phyllis (Crowe) George, Sr.
He is survived by three sisters - Marilyn Burgess and husband Eric, Sr., Caroline Burgess and husband Eugene, and Lisa George, all of Tamaroa, numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Celebration of Life service will be at Noon, Friday, June 20, 2025 at the Independent Pentecostal Church in Tamaroa with Rev. Jackie Joe Davison officiating.
A luncheon will follow the service at 12:30 P.M.
Friends may make memorials to the family and will be accepted at the funeral home.
