Jacob G. Irvin, 33, of Du Quoin, passed away at 8:54 P.M., Sunday, October 24, 2021 at the Marshall Browning Hospital in Du Quoin.
Jacob had been a grounds keeper at the Du Quoin State Fairgrounds. He was of the Baptist faith.
He was born March 1, 1988 at Du Quoin, IL, the son of Charles and Robin (Seibert) Irvin.
He is survived by his mother - Robin Hershey of Du Quoin, his children - Julie Nathen, Donavin Weihl, Ethan Galliner, Corey Irvin, all of Du Quoin, and Dayton Irvin of Mounds, and his step children - Jared Wininger and Nikkie Wininger, both of Du Quoin.
He was preceded in death by his father and one son - Matthew Irvin.
Per Jacob's request, cremation rites were accorded.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.
