Jacqueline G. "Jaci" Williams, 88, of Du Quoin, passed away at 1:35 A.M., Monday, October 14, 2024 at her residence.
Jaci had been treasurer for the City of Du Quoin for several years.  She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Du Quoin.  Jaci was also an election judge for many years.
She was born August 28, 1936 in Du Quoin, IL, the daughter of Peter and Katie (Riggio) Fiantaco.
She married Dale E. Williams on November 12, 1956 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Du Quoin and he preceded her in death on October 17, 2015.
She is survived by one son - Dan E. Williams and wife Christina, two grandchildren - Kyle S. Williams and wife Becky and Dr. Jaci K. Silverstein and husband Adam, and three great grandchildren - Hannah D. Williams, Aria Williams, and Thea Silverstein.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 A.M., Monday, October 21, 2024 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Du Quoin with Msgr. Thomas Flach and Fr. John Igwe officiating.
Friends may call from 9 A.M. until the time of service on Monday at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin.
Burial will be in the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Du Quoin, IL.
Friends may make memorials to the Sacred Heart Catholic Church and will be accepted at the funeral home.
