Ms. Jenny L. Harris of O'Fallon, Missouri, departed this life at the St. Peters Manors in St. Peters, Missouri on November 13, 2021. She had attained the age of 98 years.
Ms Harris was born on April 23, 1923 in Perry County, Illinois, the daughter of Leland and Frances (Dreszka) Nehrkorn. She was married to Sylvester Pete Waligorski on June 26, 1948. She was later married to Hosea Harris in 1972.
Jenny was a homemaker and an employee of Martha Manning Clothing Factory for many years until her retirement. She was a member of Assumption Catholic Church in O'Fallon, Missouri. She was an avid seamstress her entire adult life.
Left to mourn her passing are her two children, Diane (Waligorski) Kravec and husband James Hellard of O'Fallon, Missouri and Barbara Waligorski also of O'Fallon, Missouri, grandchildren, Callie (Kravec) Franssen and husband Christopher of Las Vegas, Nevada and James Kravec and wife Rebecca of Collinsville, Illinois. Jenny also had 3 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Charles who was killed in WWII, and a brother James that died in 1967.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Tamaroa, Illinois with Fr. Oliver Nwachukwu officiating.
Friends may call from 9 A.M. until the time of service on Wednesday at the church.
Please use social distancing guidelines. Everyone in attendance is required to wear a mask.
Burial will be in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery at Tamaroa.
Friends may make memorials to Masses, Alzheimer's Association, or Heartland Humane Society of O'Fallon, MO and will be accepted at the funeral home.
