Jessica Margaret Cohen, 33, of Du Quoin, formerly of Pontiac, IL, passed away at 10:48 A.M., Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at her residence.
Jessica had worked in the fast food industry. She loved her family and friends dearly. Jessica had a soft spot for animals. Her passions were sketching and writing poetry. One of her poems had been published in a poetry book.  In her younger years, she enjoyed playing basketball.
She was born May 19, 1989 in Peoria, IL, the daughter of Andrea Michelle Gullo and Darrell Duane Cohen.
She is survived by her father, two sisters - Betsy (Gullo) Sweeney and David and Michelle (Cohen) Morse and Dan, nephews and niece - Connor, Bryan and Ava, uncles and aunts - Ed Gullo and Martha, Suzanne Gullo and Jane LoPiccalo, Mary Melvin and David, and cousins - Anthony, Joseph, Melissa, Amanda, Aaron, Rebecca, Margaret, and Katherine.
She was preceded in death by her mother, grandparents - Dominic and Joan Gullo and five infant siblings.
Per Jessica's request, cremation rites were held.
Private burial service will be held.
