Jessie Marie Pestka, 92, of Du Quoin, formerly of Tamaroa, passed away at 7:33 A.M., Tuesday, April 14, 2026 at the Marshall Browning Hospital in Du Quoin.
Jessie had been a homemaker.  She was a member of First Baptist Church in Tamaroa.
She was born October 1, 1933 in Tamaroa, IL, the daughter of Leonard J. and Goldie (Pitchford) Keller, Sr.
She married Michael R. Pestka on December 31, 1951 in Tamaroa, IL and he preceded her in death on May 24, 2013.
She is survived by four children - Michael J. Pestka and wife Marilyn, Sherry Fisher and husband Dennis, Debra Harris and husband Jeff, and Kirk Pestka, all of Tamaroa, eight grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers - Leonard J. Keller, Jr., Robert L. Keller, and Charles R. Keller, two sisters - Betty Atkins and Kathryn Kehoe, and one great grandson - Chase M. Bauza.
Graveside services will be at 10:00 A.M., Friday, April 17, 2026 at the Antioch Cemetery in Tamaroa with Rev. Raymond Baggott officiating.
Those attending the service are asked to go directly to the cemetery.
Burial will be in the Antioch Cemetery in Tamaroa, IL.
Friends may make memorials to the Baptist Children's Home in Carmi, IL and will be accepted at the funeral home.
