Joseph "Joe" Richard Green, 57, of Vergennes, passed away at 5:03 P.M., Friday, March 31, 2023 at his residence.
Joe had been a contractor.
He was born July 10, 1965 in North Carolina, the son of Doug and Mary Evalina (Lively) Green.
He is survived by five children - Jessica Aldridge of Du Quoin, Megan Green of Du Quoin, Kendra Accomando of Sesser, Tyler Green of Sesser and Gavin Green of Sesser, four brothers - Don Green of Du Quoin, Ron Green and wife Sandi of Du Quoin, Tony Green of Du Quoin, and Joseph Lively of Tennessee, numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents - Doug Green and Mary and Larry Dean Craig, and one brother - Rocky Neil Green.
Memorial services will be at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin with Rev. Danny Norman officiating.
Friends may call from 5 to 7 P.M., Monday at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin.
Burial will be in the Sunset Memorial Park in Du Quoin.
Friends may make memorials to the Jubilee Tabernacle Apostolic Church and will be accepted at the funeral home.
