Judith Diane Lambert, 66, of Du Quoin, passed away at 12:50 A.M., Saturday, July 25, 2026 at her residence.
Judith had worked as a split case picker at Walgreen's for twenty-five plus years.  She also worked as a seamstress for Southern Illinois Sportswear.  Judith was of the Christian faith.  She enjoyed sewing, scrap booking, camping, and playing card and board games.  Judith enjoyed spending time with her grandkids and her dogs.
She was born September 5, 1959 in Mt. Vernon, IL, the daughter of Cletus and Gloria (Casada) Rainey.
She married Brian Lambert in May of 1998 at the Buckner Baptist Church and he survives.
Judith is survived by her husband of Du Quoin, three children - Chrystal Davis and Dustin Larkin of West Frankfort, Michael Davis and wife Kacie of Pinckneyville, and Jennifer Hester and husband Austin of Hurst, eight grandchildren - Skye Westerhouse, Kameron Baumann, Serenity Lambert, Mason Davis, Kennedy Parkhill, Rylie Davis, Aubree Hester, and Briar Hester, father-in-law - James R. Lambert, ten siblings - Kerry Rainey of Belle Rive, Jerry Rainey and wife Suzanne of Belleville, Sue Bean of Indiana, Barbara Ortgiesen and husband Carl of Woodlawn, Maureena Burdin of Killeen, TX, Rebecca Hester and husband Tom of Mt. Vernon, Tammy Beard of Herrin, Linda Martin and husband Bob of Charleston, IL, Mark Rainey and wife Elizabeth of Killeen, TX, and Shawn Rainey of Buckeye, AZ, and brother-in-law - David Gagznos.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister - Jane Gagznos, one brother - Danny Rainey, brother-in-law - Marty Bean, and mother-in-law - Carolyn Lambert.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M., Friday, July 31, 2026 at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin with Barbara Ortgiesen officiating.
Friends may call from 9 A.M. until the time of service on Friday at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin.
Burial will be at South Hickory Hill Cemetery in Mt. Vernon, IL.
Friends may make memorials to Perry County Humane Society and will be accepted at the funeral home.
