Judy Faye McCurdy, 79, of Pinckneyville, passed away at 5:54 P.M., Thursday, December 9, 2021 at Evelyn's House Hospice in Creve Coeur, MO.
Judy had been a LPN/Respiratory Therapist at Pinckneyville Hospital for thirty-five years. She was a member of Roes Dale Baptist Church in Pinckneyville.
She was born December 8, 1942 at Sesser, IL, the daughter of Charles and Dorothy Mae (Berg) Tennison.
She is survived by one daughter - Karen Knapp and Jason of Du Quoin, one son - Kevin McCurdy of Pinckneyville, one sister - Linda Doerr and husband Pete of Du Quoin, two brothers - Larry Tennison and wife Paula of Watson, LA and Gary Tennison and wife Tina of Du Quoin, three grandchildren - Brittany Knapp, Ashley McCurdy, and Dustin McCurdy and wife Kayla, and one great grandchild on the way.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother - Bobby Tennison.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M., Monday, December 13, 2021 at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin with Rev. Lee Valerius officiating.
Friends may call from 9 A.M. until the time of service on Monday at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin.

Burial will be in the Paradise Cemetery in Tamaroa, IL.
Friends may make memorials to Evelyn's House Hospice and will be accepted at the funeral home.
