Julia Ann Marie Messer, 80, of Du Quoin, passed away at 6:29 A.M., Thursday, April 13, 2023 at her residence.
Julia had been a factory worker.
She was born March 1, 1943 in East St. Louis, IL, the daughter of William T. and Helen (Ford) Swartz.
She married Allen Ray Messer in 1981 and he survives.
She is survived by her husband of Du Quoin, two sons - Charles Messer and wife Chantelle and Steven Messer, all of Du Quoin, and numerous grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Per Julia's request, cremation rites were accorded.
There will be no public visitation or funeral services.
