Karen Jean Fozard, 71, of Pinckneyville, passed away at 5:40 P.M., Tuesday, June 9, 2026 at the Pinckneyville Community Hospital.
Karen had been office manager and billing clerk at Family Medical Center in Pinckneyville.  She was a member of the Church of Christ.
She was born July 9, 1954 in Hohenwald, TN, the daughter of Harry and Dorothy (Baker) Kirk.
She married John Gregg Fozard on May 13, 1998 in Maui, HI.
She is survived by her husband of Pinckneyville, four children - Audree Keele and Lon of Nashville, TN, Kirk Dauksch and Heather of Sesser, Erin Hausmann and Nick of St. Louis, MO, and Andrew Fozard and Kristi of Aurora, CO, one brother - Anthony Kirk and Debbie of Columbia, TN, eight grandchildren and one great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother - Michael Kirk.
Per Karen's request, cremation rites will be accorded.
There will be no public visitation or funeral service.
In lieu of flowers, friends may make memorials to the American Cancer Society and will be accepted at the funeral home.
