Kathy Sue Woodcock, 71, of Du Quoin, passed away at 10:56 A.M., Friday, October 2, 2026 at her residence.
Kathy had been a homemaker.  She was of the Baptist faith.  Kathy enjoyed gardening and cooking.  She had a big heart and enjoyed helping people.
She was born November 1, 1954 in Centralia, IL, the daughter of Earl and Barbara Sue (Swan) Johnson.
She married Roger Woodcock on May 7, 2004 in Salem, IL and he survives.
She is survived by her husband of Du Quoin, two daughters - Anita (Wilbur) Clifton of Bloomington, IL and Heather Woodcock and Sean Gregory of Kennett, MO, her father - Earl Johnson of Centralia, IL, six grandchildren - Margaret Vtgaard, Benjamin Clifton, Anne Clifton, Thomas Clifton, Logan Pavlak, and Katie Pavlak.
She was preceded in death by her mother, and two brothers - Michael Johnson and Leslie Johnson.
Graveside services will be at 1:00 P.M., Thursday, October 8, 2026 at the Sunset Memorial Park in Du Quoin, IL with Rev. Joe Wagner officiating.
Those attending the service are asked to go directly to the cemetery.
Burial will be in the Sunset Memorial Park in Du Quoin, IL.
Friends may make memorials to Perry County Humane Society and will be accepted at the funeral home.
