Kerry E. Croteau, 87, of Pinckneyville, passed away at 8:50 P.M., Thursday, August 28, 2025 at his residence.
Kerry had been a truck driver for Tec-Mar.  He was a member of St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church in Todds Mill.  Kerry was a United States Navy veteran.  He was a member of Knights of Columbus and he was a 3rd and 4th degree Knight.
He was born March 5, 1938 in Pontiac, MI, the son of Joseph Maurice and Ethel May (Taylor) Croteau.
He is survived by two daughters - Kelli Croteau and husband Dennis Rybacki of Pinckneyville and Annette Butler and husband William of Centralia, one son - Kurt Croteau of Alpena, MI, one sister - Barbara Thomas of Waterford, MI, ten grandchildren - Corrie Archer, Robin Wangler, Bill Archer, Holly Butler, Jasmine Croteau, Haley Hochrein, Layla Croteau, Michael Croteau, William Dirks and Patrick Dirks and twenty great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter - Anita Rice and two brothers.
A Celebration of Life service will be at 1:30 P.M., Wednesday, September 3, 2025 at the home of his daughter at 5394 Waterway Dr., Pinckneyville, IL.
Friends may make memorials to St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church and will be accepted at the funeral home.
