LaDonna Kay Paxton, 64, of Du Quoin, passed away at 4:21 P.M., Monday, December 1, 2025 at the Deaconess Regional Healthcare in Marion, IL.
LaDonna had worked at Five Star Industries for five years.  She was a member of Second Baptist Church in Du Quoin.  LaDonna was also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary.
She was born December 5, 1960 in Du Quoin, IL, the daughter of Lindell R. and Marylyn Joyce (Trout) Paxton.
She is survived by two brothers - Wayne Harris and wife Deborah and Lindon Paxton and wife Kelly, all of Du Quoin, one sister - Anita Grunner and husband Brent of Bradenton, FL, nieces and nephews - Derrick Grunner, Alison E. Mahdi, Serena Concha, Wayne Harris and fiance Melinda, Amanda Eggermyer and husband Lance, Ashley Leeper and husband Corey, Blake Paxton, Kyle Paxton, Toby Alvis and wife Jackie, Devoney Alvis, Jaymon Alvis, and Jaron Alvis and wife Heather, several other nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister-in-law - Ann Paxton.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M., Friday, December 5, 2025 at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin with Deacon Tony Kellerman officiating.
Friends may call from 9 A.M. until the time of service on Friday at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin.
Burial will be in the Cudgetown Cemetery in Du Quoin.
Friends may make memorials to Second Baptist Church in Du Quoin, Perry County Gold Plate, or Eagles Children's Christmas and will be accepted at the funeral home.
