Lance William Keith, 52, of Dowell, passed away at 7:19 A.M., Friday, May 30, 2025.
Lance had been owner and operator of a courier service.  He was a member of Christian Fellowship Church in Du Quoin.  Lance loved listening to music and playing the drums.  He was an  avid griller.
He was born May 1, 1973 in Pinckneyville, IL, the son of William B. and Sue (Maksin) Keith, II.
He is survived by his parents - Bill and Sue Keith of Dowell, one brother - Scott Keith and wife Theresa of Du Quoin, life partner - Melissa Stevenson of Dowell, and two nieces.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents - William B. and DeLoris Keith, Sr. and maternal grandparents - John and Maxine Maksin.
Per his request, cremation rites were accorded.
Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.
A private family burial will take place in Elkville, IL.
Friends may make memorials to the donor's choice and will be accepted at the funeral home.
