Linda K. Doerr, 78, of Du Quoin, passed away at 12:50 A.M., Saturday, December 27, 2025 at the Du Quoin Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Linda had been a beautician.  She enjoyed gardening and canning.  Linda was a great cook.  She loved to dance and enjoyed going camping.  Linda also loved flowers.  She was a member of Second Baptist Church in Du Quoin.
She was born July 1, 1947 in Du Quoin, IL, the daughter of Charles and Dorothy (Berg) Tennison.
She married Peter P. Doerr on April 30, 1966 in Du Quoin, IL and he survives.
She is survived by her husband of Du Quoin, two children - Melinda Rathbun and Rodney Doerr and Christie, all of Du Quoin, six grandchildren - Jacob Rathbun, Josh Hale and Chalene, Jacob Hunziker and Hannah, Kayla Katsion and Benjamin, Cortney Hale, and Rachel Hunziker, five great grandchildren - Garrett Hale, Mackenzie Hale, Audrey Katsion, Avery Basham, and Brooks Hunziker, one great great grandchild - Paislynn Hale, and two brothers - Gary Tennison and Tina of Du Quoin and Larry Tennison and Paula of Watson, LA.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister - Judy McCurdy, and one brother - Bobby Tennison.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin with Rev. Devan Downard officiating.
Friends may call from 5 to 7 P.M., Monday at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin.
Burial will be in the Sunset Memorial Park in Du Quoin.
Friends may make memorials to Du Quoin Second Baptist Church or Residential Hospice and will be accepted at the funeral home.
