Lorraine D. Sharp, 89, of Pinckneyville, formerly of Tamaroa, passed away at 10:35 A.M., Tuesday, October 14, 2025 at the Coulterville Rehabilitation and Health Care Center.
She had worked in the accounting department at the International Shoe Company in St. Louis for 27 years. She became the accounting supervisor at First Foto in St. Charles, MO and worked there for 10 years.  She retired after working six years as the Immaculate Conception Church Secretary in Tamaroa.  She was a previous member of the Immaculate Conception Church in Tamaroa.  Lorraine was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary #1277 and the VFW Auxiliary #513.
She was born December 25, 1935 in St. Louis, MO, the daughter of Roman S. and Irene (Ratajczyk) Dressler.
Lorraine married Thomas E. Sharp on February 6, 1954 at the Ascension Catholic Church in St. Louis, MO, and he preceded her in death on November 1, 2013.
She is survived by nieces, nephews, a great niece, great nephews, and many friends.
Lorraine was preceded in death by her grandparents, parents, brother, and father and mother in law - Earl and Madie Sharp.
Graveside services will be at 10:00 A.M., Monday, October 20, 2025 at the St. Barbara Cemetery in Scheller with Deacon Tony Kellerman officiating.
Those attending the service are asked to go directly to the cemetery.
Burial will be in the St. Barbara Cemetery in Scheller.
