Marcella C. Kujawa, 87, of Du Bois, passed away at 4:12 A.M., Friday, January 16, 2026 at the SSM Heath Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon, IL.
Marcella had been a homemaker.  She was the owner of the Mule Barn for a few years.  Marcella was a member of St. Charles Catholic Church in Du Bois, where she helped the quilters.  Marcella was instrumental in starting the Polish Fest in Du Bois.  She enjoyed sitting outside during the summer months, fishing, quilting, cooking and staying busy.
She was born May 7, 1938 in Mt. Vernon, IL, the daughter of Ernest L. and Dorothy T. (Stelmazewski) Kerry.
She married Raymond Stanley Kujawa in 1957 in Scheller, IL and he preceded her in death in 2003.
She is survived by two sons - William "Chip" Kujawa of Du Bois and Dave Kujawa of Maryville, IL, two brothers - Jack Kerry and wife Vicki of Du Bois and John Kerry and wife Margie of Waltonville, several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Per Marcella's request, cremation rites will be accorded.
There will be no public visitation or funeral service.
Friends may make memorials to the family and will be accepted at the funeral home.
