Marcia Gene Perryman, 75, of Murphysboro, passed away at 8:02 P.M., Saturday, May 20, 2023 at the SIH Memorial Hospital of Carbondale.
Marcia had been a homemaker.  She was a member of the First Christian Church in Du Quoin.
She was born December 7, 1947 in Du Quoin, IL, the daughter of Gene and Jeffie (Bell) McCurdy.
She married Mickey L. Perryman on April 28, 1964 in Du Quoin, IL and he survives.
She is survived by her husband of Murphysboro, three children - Kristal Williams and husband Gordon of Sparta, Richard Perryman and wife Lanette of Coronado, CA, and Jodi Boese and husband Mike of Murphysboro, eight grandchildren - Nicolette Kordys, Dane Williams, Taylor Perryman, Maxwell Perryman, Sophia Perryman, Alayna Roper, Alexa Boese, and Aidan Boese, seven great grandchildren and one on the way.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother - Robby McCurdy.
Memorial services will be at 3:30 P.M., Friday, June 30, 2023 at the Elkville Christian Church with Bro. Gary Pruitt officiating.
Burial will be in the Elkville Cemetery at Elkville, IL.
Friends may make memorials to Hospice of Southern Illinois and will be accepted at the funeral home.
