Marla Sue McNulty, 78, of Du Quoin, passed away at 2:24 P.M., Monday, August 3, 2026 at the Du Quoin Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Marla had been a beautician for many years.  She had also been a biscuit maker at Hardees in Du Quoin.  Marla was a member of the Du Quoin Methodist Church.  She enjoyed spending time with her family, children and grandchildren.
She was born March 22, 1948 in Du Quoin, IL, the daughter of Delbert and Betty (Davis) Hemmer.
She married Ronald C. McNulty on July 6, 1968 in Du Quoin, IL.
She is survived by her husband of Du Quoin, two sons - Michael McNulty of Du Quoin, and Jason McNulty and wife Deneen of St. Louis, MO, two grandchildren - Daniel McNulty and Lia McNulty, both of St. Louis, MO, one sister - Debra McMurray of Du Quoin, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and grandmother - Sally Gladson.
Memorial services will be at 7:00 P.M., Friday, August 7, 2026 at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin with Rev. April Turner officiating.
Friends may call from 5 P.M. until the time of service on Friday at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin.
Friends may make memorials to the American Cancer Society and will be accepted at the funeral home.
