Marsha L. "Mickey" Watts, 76, of Du Quoin, passed away at 4:50 A.M., Thursday, October 5, 2023 at the Du Quoin Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Mickey had been an inspector at General Cable.  She was a member of the Faith Assembly of God Church in Du Quoin.  Mickey loved to read and sit at the Du Quoin State Fairgrounds.  She was an avid quilter and enjoyed sewing.  Mickey loved horses and traveling.
She was born August 27, 1947 in Du Quoin, IL, the daughter of Lloyd H. and Wilma A. (Longshore) Watts.
She is survived by two brothers - Lloyd Watts, Jr. and wife Joan of Elkville and Paul Allen Watts and wife Milly of Tamaroa, numerous nieces and nephews and special friends - Sierra Brown, Marcia Frederick and Frances Stanley.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters - Judith Voyles, Brenda Vonderhide, and Rose Watts, one brother - Warren Watts and special friend - Sandy Brown.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M., Friday, October 13, 2023 at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin with Rev. Jeff Baker and Rev. Paul Ritter officiating.
Friends may call from 9 A.M. until the time of service on Friday at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin.
Burial will be in the Old Du Quoin Cemetery in Du Quoin, IL.
Friends may make memorials to the family and will be accepted at the funeral home.
