Mary Ann Graeff, 89, of Elkville, passed away at 8:25 P.M., Wednesday, November 20, 2024 at the Memorial Hospital of Carbondale.
Mary Ann had been a homemaker.  She worked for nineteen years at Southern Illinois University.  Mary Ann was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Carbondale.
She was born March 12, 1935 in Danville, IL, the daughter of Herbert and Charlotte (Curtis) Leisch.
She married Samuel Brown and he preceded her in death.  She then married Clarence E. Graeff on March 17, 1999 at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Carbondale and he preceded her in death on June 20, 2021.
She is survived by sister-in-law - Beverly Mandrell of Benton, special friend - Flor Eldridge of Elkville, nieces and nephew.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, and one brother - Kenneth Leisch.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M., Friday, November 29, 2024 at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin with Rev. Robert Gray officiating.
Friends may call from 10 A.M. until the time of service on Friday at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin.
Burial will be in the Elkville Cemetery at Elkville, IL.
Friends may make memorials to Our Savior Lutheran Church and will be accepted at the funeral home.
